How to adjust a cuff style bracelet:

Each Renaissance bracelet is carefully manufactured, formed and handfinished by a select team of experts. The cuff is a standard length, and can be adjusted to fit your wrist.

Do not put the bracelet on your wrist and squeeze it. Squeezing the cuff puts all of the stress on the center of the bracelet and can weaken the metal. With the bracelet off of your wrist, encircle one hand firmly over one end of the bracelet and make your adjustment by gently bending this portion of the bracelet no more than 1/4 inch. Bend gently and adjust a little each time, shaping them carefully.  They may require some force to bend the metal and to make the curve even and graceful. Do the same on the other side. This only needs to be done one time.

Do not adjust your bangle to fit more than once. Adjusting the bangle too many times will cause metal fatigue and may result in the bangle breaking. You should not reshape the cuff every time you put it on.  A well-fitted cuff doesn’t need to be bent repeatedly to get it on or off.

General Care Instructions

Remove jewellery when going to sleep, when undertaking labour intensive activities or when coming into contact with water, especially chlorinated water.

The gold plating on jewellery will fade over time, and this fading will be accelerated if the jewellery comes into contact with water.

Avoid contact with perfume and chemicals, including skin, hair and makeup products.

When it’s not being used, store jewellery in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep jewellery in its original packaging or a suitable pouch to prevent pieces rubbing and scratching against one another.

Use a lint-free cloth for light cleaning. Never use chemical jewellery cleaners.
Gently rub gold-plated jewellery with a dry, clean, lint-free and soft cloth to polish it to a shine. Do not press hard as this may cause damage to the surface of the bangle. It is recommended to wipe clean jewellery after each wear to remove any makeup, skin products or natural skin oils that it may have come into contact with.

Plated jewellery may not be the best option if you have extremely sensitive skin, in which case you might want to consider wearing pure gold, gold-filled or sterling silver pieces.
